Birdhouse Kickoff 006

The 13th annual Birdhouse Show was held at South Shore Plaza in Braintree, April 28-30, sponsored by South Shore Habitat for Humanity in Braintree. David Brown, WCVB-TV meteorologist, helped kick off the event. The show features functional and decorative birdhouses for display and sale. Proceeds from the show go to the South Shore Habitat for Humanity's local construction projects. Currently, South Shore Habitat is building in Brockton and Hingham, with plans underway for new homes in Braintree, Whitman, Scituate and Stoughton. Photo by Andrew McDowell
